Pelican Hooks can be used to secure anchor chains on deck

Forged from the highest quality steel, our Pelican Hook Range can be used in a variety of shipping and rigging applications.

Overview:

They can be incorporated into lashing apparatus such as containership ratchets and turnbuckles. They can also form an integral part of a chain stopper solution to secure chain anchors to the deck of the vessel. The hook can be forged as an integral part of a threaded bolt to be used in a ratchet assembly.

We can supply our hooks to you as a forging only or machine them to your specific and detailed requirements. We also have the capability to manufacture full assemblies with nut and collar.

Our forged hooks range can be supplied with material certification to 3.1 and 3.2 levels of traceability. Proof load test certificates can also be supplied on request.
